LORD OF ALL-1
Joshua 3:13 “And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.”

In our focal scripture, the word Lord was used twice. One is spelt as “LORD” while the other one is “Lord”. The full capital LORD is the Hebrew word “Jehovah” while the other one is the Hebrew word “Adown”. The focus of our meditation today is the second one which is sentence case “Lord”.

Beloved, one thing to know about God is that He is “Adown”. That’s a powerful revelation you must never forget!

The Hebrew word “Adown” means sovereign, supreme, controller, master, owner. Adown also means ruler, commander and the absolute.

That’s a name of God you must never miss. Friend, our God as Adown is self-governing and not ruled by any other! He has complete power with supreme authority. He is Lord of all and Lord over all!

Nothing and nobody hears the voice of his Lord and master without flinching! Negative situations and challenges gives way. It doesn’t matter who you are, when your boss shows up you must accord him his due respect, how much more God!

Our God is the Lord of all the earth! He is not Lord of part or some of the earth, He is Lord of all. He made all things and in Him all things consist.

John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made”

Colossians 1:17 “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist”

Friend, whatever be the challenge that is confronting you, Jesus was here before it! Not only that, he knows the composition of the problem and how to deal with it.

Our God is Lord of all without any contradiction. He does great and marvelous things.
