Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
…To be continued…
Jesus also said, a man “…shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23). We live in a very negative world, where demonic terms have become part of our daily syntax. Some of those slangs are actually what has been limiting many people.
You hear slangs like; “We are hustling”, “We are patching life”, “We are trying to cope with the economy”. Friend, remove such slangs from your mouth and replace them with the word of God. The Bible didn’t call you a hustler neither did it tell you to patch life.
I hope you know that aside other meanings, to hustle actually means an act or scheme involving deceit, aggression, swindling, fraud, or petty theft!
To patch is to use a piece of material to cover, strengthen, or mend a hole in something. But, remember that patched clothes don’t always look nice.
If you’re patching life, I wonder the material you’re using and for how long you’ll keep patching it?
I’ve heard people say, “This my sickness”, and of course they remain sick. When you customize and personalize a sickness, you’re courting trouble and disaster.
Friend, your vocabulary must change if you are to have good success. The challenges facing you can easily be traced to the usage of your mouth, so beware.
Glory be to God for not leaving us in the dark, He told us what to be declaring. He said, “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth…”
All you need do is dig into the Word of God, pick relevant scriptures and keep declaring them. You cannot afford to speak like the people of this world, hear this:
Ephesians 4:29 “Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift.” (MSG)
Friend, put God’s word in your mouth always!
