Esther 7:10 “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified”

Esther 9:1 “Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)”

…From yesterday…

All along it seems as if Haman was winning, walking majestically round the whole kingdom. His powers looked absolute until one night when the God of the Jews showed up. It didn’t take God time before his whole plot boomerangs in his face.

There is something of note in the story which Zeresh, the wife of Haman said. Hear her:

Esther 6:13 “And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.”

Esther 6:13 “When Haman had finished telling his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his knowledgeable friends who were there and his wife Zeresh said, “If this Mordecai is in fact a Jew, your bad luck has only begun. You don’t stand a chance against him–you’re as good as ruined.”” (MSG)

Friend, how I wish the Jews themselves knows what Zeresh and some of his friends knew! How I also wish that you and I know, understand and appropriate this truth as well.

I want you to know this day, that it doesn’t matter what you’re going through, you cannot go under. Nothing and no force on this earth can overcome a Jew. Guess what? We are the spiritual Jews and this is our heritage. No storm of life can drown us.

To be continued…
