Esther 7:10 “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified”

Esther 9: 1 “Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)”

What I can considered as one of the most fascinating aspect of this story is the displacement and replacement that took place. I see a table turning miracle of magnanimous proportion in this story.

Haman set up a conspiracy theory to completely annihilate the Jews. He had it all planned out just awaiting execution. He even went as far as “tricking” the king to sign an executive order to back up his claims. His plans seem fireproof until the KING of kings stepped into the matter.

Friend, our God is a table turning KING! I love to always call Him that. He is a Specialist in turning situations around to favour His children. He can go to any length to bail out His own.

While Haman was planning, God was sitting and laughing at his foolishness. I love the way David summed it up, hear this:

Psalms 2:1 “Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?”

Psalms 2:2 “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,”

Psalms 2:3 “Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us.”

Psalms 2:4 “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh the Lord shall have them in derision”

Anyone plotting and scheming to take out a child of God or the things of God does so at his or her own peril. You cannot fight God and win. All along it seems as if Haman was winning, walking majestically round the whole kingdom.

To be continued…
