Esther 4:14 “For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

…From yesterday…

4. Mordecai then said, “…and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther had been crowned queen. She was greatly loved by the king and his cabinet. She has arrived at her dream land. An ordinary orphaned slave girl now the queen over one hundred and twenty seven nations. She has maids and other servants at her disposal.

Then from the blues, her uncle showed up with a suicidal request. If it was you and I, how would we have reacted? The request of Mordecai was looking like mission impossible. It was as if her whole world was about crashing again. I’m sure all the pains of the past came flashing through her mind again.

Here is the gist; there is always something in the heart of God for the position you occupy now! You’re not just elevated to that office by accident, there is a spiritual side and activity that must take place. God has an agenda for your promotion. It is not about that office but much more about an activity and policy that the Divine want to impliment.

It’s sad how God elevate and promote people and they forget all about Him. You watch with utter disbelieve how a man that was just raised by God develop so much ego and start to act like God. He even tells you he’s a self-made man.

Friend, have you ever given your life a thought and ask God why He has elevated you? Do you know His divine purpose for you? Do you know why you’re where you are? Is there not a cause?

Prayer: Lord, show me your divine purpose for my present position? Help me to see beyond the physical in Jesus name. Lord, I receive grace to yield to the promptings of heaven.
