Esther 4:14 “For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

…From yesterday…

I’m sure you remember the story of Jonah. God made him a prophet, prepared him to hear Him expressly and rescue nations but when the time came for him to act on behalf of Nineveh he refused. He even chose to run away.

Jonah 1:2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.”

Jonah 1:3 “But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.”

This prophet chose to disobey God and die rather than going to assist the people of Nineveh. Those folks never stopped praying and God had to literally force Jonah to assist them.

Prayer: Lord, my destiny helper will not refuse to swing into action as at when due. He or she will not deny me in Jesus name. The one sent to me will yield to the promptings of heaven in Jesus name.

3. Here is another thing that Mordecai said, “…then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place…”

God always has a plan B and C and more if need be. God cannot be caged or stopped. He always has contingency plans. Rather than to abandon His plan he will change method and even men. Don’t look unto man but rather unto God. He most times raises help from unlikely quarters. Remember Naaman and the little slave girl (2Kings 5:1-3)?

Prayer: Lord, wherever my help is, let it locate me. Let my help and deliverance come from the places and men you have designated.

To be continued…
