COURAGE-1
Esther 4:16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

Courage is another thing we saw in the life of Esther. A fearful man will never go far in life. It takes a lot of courage to confront our fears and achieve greatness. We must all learn to take the bulls of our lives by the horn.

The children of Israel were confronted with extinction and Esther was asked to stop it but the path to stopping the plot was laced with grave danger. There was a decree that anyone who shows up before the king uninvited will die; including the queen.

Esther 4:16 “…I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

Friend, there will always be danger on the road to the fulfilment of your destiny, your ability to keep your focus on the reward and not on the challenge determines if you’ll succeed or not. Lack of courage has been the bane of many people but I’m glad to let you know that the standard will not be lowered for you!

You must simply pick up courage and get going. A wise man said that; “Courage is not the absence of danger; it is acting in spite of it”. As a matter of fact, there is no courage without danger.

Until a man finds a cause that is bigger than him and for which he is willing to die, he is not ready to live! Hear our Lord and Saviour:

Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.”

Matthew 16:25 “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it…”
