TRAINING AND PREPARATION-2
Esther 2:12 “Now when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)”

…From yesterday…

Ephesians 5:27 “Christ did this, so that he would have a glorious and holy church, without faults or spots or wrinkles or any other flaws.”(CEV)

Until you’re wiped clean of every fault, spots and wrinkles you’re not qualified for an audience with the king. It took six solid months for this to be done for Esther but it was successful because she yielded.

After the treatment with myrrh, the next thing that was done was purification with sweet odours. God will not leave you in limbo after the myrrh treatment, He will place his scent on you. If you keep going around with an offensive odour, the king will not be able to stand you.

2 Corinthians 2:14, 15 “…Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance…we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvation – an aroma redolent with life.” (MSG)

There is a scent the Holy Spirit places upon a man that makes him irresistible wherever he goes. The trainers worked upon Esther for another six months and her scent changed. Friend, give God a chance to place His own fragrance on you.

When you settle down at the place of training everything about you changes for the best. After twelve months she was ready and well prepared.

Friend, the myrrh and the sweet odours are meant to shape your characters and prepare you for the throne. Don’t just be beauty without brains, get some education. You must be trained for your palace in life.

The myrrh treatment is not going to be easy but you must follow through; let God work on you for as long as it takes. Get trained and follow through the preparation process.
