Esther 2:11 “And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.”

…From yesterday…

Jethro took his time to study Moses and his process then went ahead to “spank” him with words! He pointed out the flaws in his process and Moses gave him the opportunity to say all that was in his heart:

Exodus 18:17 “And Moses’ father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.”

Exodus 18:18 “Thou wilt surely wear away both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.”

What surprised me in the whole thing was that when Moses went to inquire from God about the suggestion and corrections of Jethro, God rubber stamped it! We can never overemphasis the place of a father in our lives and destiny. There are things God intentionally kept in the custody of fathers!

Moses picked that powerful leadership tip from his “father” and he went on to become a great leader.

Friend, let the voice of your father and mentor be stronger than the voice of flatterers in your life.

Let us looks at our focal scripture again:

Esther 2:11 “And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.”

He was not just interested in the process of Esther, he wanted to be sure she will become all that God has destined her to be. The Bible says, “…and what should become of her.” Mordecai was very particular about how Esther will end up in life.

What a privilege to have someone in your life who is so determined to get you to your God ordained destination.

Jesus told Peter that he will betray him but rather than for him to listen to the Master, he rebelled and ended up falling into the enemie’s trap. Fathers know where and how a matter will end!

Friend, have someone who can always check your process and give him room to say all that is in his heart to you!
