Esther 2:11 “And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.”

…From yesterday…

Esther 6:2 “And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.”

Mordecai once revealed to the king the plot of some assassins. If Mordecai had not been there the great king would have been killed cheaply.

As I was studying this verse, the Holy Spirit whispered to me that, “Your father don’t just know the palace protocol and politics, he knows the enemies therein as well!”

Friend, your mentor know about the enemy that can cut your life short. I’m not just talking about physical enemies, I’m talking about character flaws, attitudinal issues, wrong orientation and misbehaviors that are enemies of your future as well.

There are characters that look so normal to you, but are injurious to your destiny. The reason why some people misbehaves is because they have never been told that the habit they hold so dear is wrong, as a result they keep doing it.

Friend, look for somebody that can straighten out every aspect of your life and deliberately allow him tell you all that is in his mind. David was great and very successful but listen to something he said:

Psalms 141:5 “Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities”

Psalms 141:5 “Let the upright give me punishment; and let the god-fearing man put me in the right way; but I will not let the oil of sinners come on my head: when they do evil I will give myself to prayer.” (BBE)

Psalms 141:5 “May the Just One set me straight, may the Kind One correct me, Don’t let sin anoint my head. I’m praying hard against their evil ways!” (MSG)
