FAILURE TO LEARN-2
Proverbs 13:18 “Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured”

Proverbs 13:18 “Someone who will not learn will be poor and disgraced. Anyone who listens to correction is respected.” (GNB)

Proverbs 13:18 “Need and shame will be the fate of him who is uncontrolled by training; but he who takes note of teaching will be honoured.” (BBE)

Beloved, it takes knowledge to harness the operations and moves of God on earth.

Beloved, don’t be mentally lazy. In a research that was conducted by an organization, it was found that: The wealthy reads two or more books a month while the poor don’t bother reading at all! That’s appalling but such is the wide margin between the two.

It has also been found that almost ninety five percent of Christians don’t enter a bookshop in a year to buy books they’ll read, except perhaps to get their children school books.

Friend, poverty also have another partner called ignorance. They also operate like twins but the sad thing is that no amount of prayer and fasting can handle the “demon of ignorance”, you just have to learn!

What you don’t know can destroy you (Hosea 4:6). Hear this:

Luke 4:16 “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.”

Luke 4:17 “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,”

Jesus who is God Himself developed a reading culture or custom here on earth. He made it a point of duty to always read! In Luke 4:17, the Bible says, “When he had opened the book, he found the place…”

Friend, could it be that the reason why you have not yet found your place of success, victories, breakthroughs and wealth on earth is because of a book you’re yet to open? Jesus opened the book and found his place!

Friend, someone who will not learn will be poor and disgraced!
