Judges 11:5 “And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:”
Judges 11:6 “And they said unto Jephthah, Come and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.”
Friend, don’t worry too much about your enemies it will only distract you from your purpose in life. Someone said; “the best revenge against your enemy is your success”.
When the brothers of Joseph finally met him, the Bible said, “And Joseph was the governor over the land…and Joseph’s brethren came and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.” (Genesis 42:6)
When they eventually met Joseph, they bowed down with their faces to the earth on about three occasions. The main reason they sold him into slavery in the first place was because he told them his dream, which they interpreted to mean bowing down to him,(Genesis 37:10) but they eventually did.
When you engage your prophecy in the place of prayer, you provide the latitude needed for the fulfilment. When you maintain your prophetic confessions your enemies will come bowing without you forcing them!
Beloved, don’t waste time on your enemies, concentrate your energy on getting better and becoming the best version of you that can ever be. God sure knows how best to deal with your enemies. David realized this, no wonder he wrote:
Psalms 23:5 “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Psalms 23:5 “You treat me to a feast, while my enemies watch. You honor me as your guest, and you fill my cup until it overflows.” (CEV)
Concentrate on the table the Lord is preparing for you, it will be interesting eating a delicious meal while your enemies watch without been able to touch you.
Friend, it is high time you prove your naysayers wrong. Keep developing capacity in “Tob”, it’s just a matter of time, the elders of “Israel” will come calling.
