Judges 11:3 “Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.”
Your “Vain men”, are the ingredients for your lifting. They carry the seed for greatness deep within them.
Those your “vain”, “miserable” five barley loaves and two small fishes are just about enough to feed five thousand men!
As powerful as God Almighty is, He didn’t start the human race by creating seven billion men and women. He started from just two, Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve might have looked like “Vain men” at creation considering that some years down the line we are expecting over seven billion people! Beloved, don’t despise your “Vain men”.
What you need do is roll up your sleeves and bend down to work with them. When you grow up, you stay up but when you jump up, you come down. The principle is line upon line, precept upon precept. That your little can become much, if you will work it. Hear this:
1Samuel 22:1 “David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.”
1Samuel 22:2 “And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.”
2Samuel 23:8 “These be the names of the mighty men whom David had…”
The success of every man is hidden in what they choose to do with their “Vain men”. If David had tagged them “Vain”, worthless, debtors and useless, few years later he wouldn’t have had “mighty men”.
You must know that your Land of Tob is filled with potentials not finished products. How you see and what you do with them will determine the outcome of your life.
Friend, see the good in your “Vain men”. Today, I command the grace of God to rest upon them for you for multiplication in Jesus name.
