Judges 16:22 “Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven”

Judges 16:22 “But his hair, though cut off, began to grow again.” (MSG)

Today, I have a great news for you; your hair will grow again! The enemies shaved the head of Samson but made a very big mistake. They completely miscalculated. I guess they were overjoyed and the celebration took a toll on their sense of reasoning.

The mistake they made was to think that the cutting of the hair of Samson was a one-off thing. They didn’t know that you can never keep a righteous man down forever. Hear this:

Job 14:7 “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.”

Job 14:8 “Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;”

Job 14:9 “Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.”

Job 14:7 “For a tree there is always hope. Chop it down and it still has a chance– its roots can put out fresh sprouts.”(MSG)

The Philistines thought they’ve seen the end of Samson not knowing there is a place for re-growing cut hair in this kingdom! The enemy didn’t know we have a technology in this kingdom called restoration. This is the principle of grace, forgiveness and second chances. Hear this:

Micah 7:8 “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy when I fall I shall arise when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.”

Friend, it doesn’t matter what the enemy has cut or stopped in your life, it can spring up again. Bouncing an inflamed ball hard on the ground will only cause it to rise higher!

In this kingdom, bouncing back is in our DNA. We always spring surprises. They thought they’ve killed, buried and seen the end of Jesus but three days later, he bounced back, walking the same street where they killed him.

To be continued…
