ALL HIS HEART-2
Judges 16:17 “That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”

…From yesterday…

If Jesus had been careless and frivolous with his words, his ministry wouldn’t have lasted for that duration. You’ll discover that eventually it was his words they used against him before Pilate albeit it was perverted.

If Jesus was that careful with his words, we cannot afford to joke with ours. Jesus went ahead and told us why he doesn’t just open his mouth and utter all that is in his heart:

Matthew 7:6 “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”

Matthew 7:6 “Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, or put your jewels before pigs, for fear that they will be crushed under foot by the pigs whose attack will then be made against you.” (BBE)

Your deep thoughts, assignments, secrets of your strength and God given ideas are not meant for the public. Wise men and champions knows the difference between private and public instructions. You must know what to throw to the dogs and swine and what must be kept sacred.

That’s the stuff of champions. Great men and women knows how to carefully select their words. They also know when and where to say what! This is one thing that distinguishes wise people from fools. Hear this:

Proverbs 29:11 “A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.”

I always feel pity for a particular prophet in the Bible. His ministry would have been great and powerful, probably greater than that of Elijah, Elisha and others. That ministry was marked with so much accuracy but it ended the day it started!
