THE GAME OF DEATH-2
Judges 16:6 “And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.”

Judges 16:”And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried then shall I be weak and be as another man.”

…From yesterday…

Samson heard the words clearly but decided to ignore them. As a believer you know you’re not supposed to lie, backbite, fight, kill, steal, bear false witness, go late to work, be lazy and so on but you do it all the same.

Many will even tell you that God understands. Well, God understands but the devil doesn’t neither will your boss in the office. Don’t open doors in your life that allows the devil infiltrate your destiny.

Don’t create platforms for the enemy to fight your life, health, destiny, family, business and career. The devil does not understand the language of mercy. Once he has a legal ground against you, he gains access without restriction.

Hear Jesus:

John 14:30 “I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]” (AMP)

John 14:30 “I’ll not be talking with you much more like this because the chief of this godless world is about to attack. But don’t worry–he has nothing on me, no claim on me.” (MSG)

Jesus knew that the moment you give the devil a handle or a foothold in your life, he’ll mercilessly strike. Don’t hold unto things that belong to the devil. Always listen carefully to the words of Delilah!

Another reason why Samson seems unconcerned with the words of Delilah is what I call spiritual overconfidence or arrogance. Our brother, Samson became so full of himself and overconfidence in his abilities and endowments.

Overconfidence is a situation when someone has more confidence than they should have based on the situation and thereby misjudge their ability or opinion.
