SECRET OF YOUR STRENGTH
Judges 16:5 “And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.”

Samson was a very powerful man and the secret of his strength was a mystery to the people of his days. What the Philistine were after was the stuff that made him thick.

They were after the secret of his strength knowing full well that once that is known, he can easily be conquered. All through history, great kings and warriors have been brought down when men eventually got to know the secret of their strength.

The sad thing however is that in our dispensation, what the devil is after is none other than the secret of our strength. He is yet to change strategy. He knows that once he gets to know the secret he can easily stop us.

The challenge however is that the secret of our strength is no longer about hair, muscle, rod and so on, our secret is simply God Himself. Hear this:

Exodus 15:2 “The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation:”

2Samuel 22:33 “God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.”

Isaiah 12:2 “…the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song…”

Habakkuk 3:19 “The LORD God is my strength…”

Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us”

The secret of the strength of a believer is nothing external. It is the LORD Himself working in us. You must know this truth and believe it. It is no longer about you carrying an object that represents power from place to place, it is about you internalizing God.

You maintain power by prayer, fasting, consecration and meditation on the word.

Whatever attacks these processes in your life is after the secret of your strength, fight it!
