RIGHT WATER, RIGHT FOOD-2
2Samuel 23:15 “And David longed and said Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”

If you can win at the gate, you will win in the city automatically.

Ruth 4:1 “Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.”

Ruth 4:11 “And all the people that [were] in the gate, and the elders, said, [We are] witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:”

The decision for Boaz to marry Ruth was taken at the gate. Whoever controls the gate controls the city. The gate is the place of demonstration of authority. The gate determines what flows or enters your life and what exits it.

Bringing the three components together; drink or water, Bethlehem and gate we have; the power of the word and authority coming together.

As at the time of this encounter David was not yet king but he knew the stuff that kings are made of. No king reigns without the right words and authority so his desire was simply channeled towards his reigning in life.

He knew that if only he can be fed with the right diet; it’s just a matter of time he will be crowned king.

Friend, that is a powerful lesson for us all. Our attention must be strictly on the things that will lead to our enthronement in life and destiny. The right water and food determines where we will end in life.

Many people are focused on the wrong things. I’ve since learnt that whatever I want in life is possible via the word. When I combine the right words with the authority of Jesus in the place of prayer, I end up with miracles, testimonies and landslide victories.
