2Samuel 23:11 “And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.”

2Samuel 23:12 “But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.”

…From yesterday…

Shammah won but never gave credit to himself, he knew he had help and guess who helped him?

Exodus 15:3 “The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.” (GNB)

The One who helped him is the LORD Himself. The Man of war and Almighty. He knew all the technique, tactics and strategies of your enemies and much more, He knows how to neutralize them. When you confront the issues of life with this mindset, you cannot lose.

Don’t be a self-made man, there is nothing like that. There are only God made and devil made men. Don’t let the enemy fool you into thinking you’re a star and a great warrior when in actual sense you’ve been helped.

Smart folks recognize the strength and backing of the Almighty, the LORD and Man of war Himself. No matter what you’ve achieved in life always give Him praise and glory. Your strength is too small to win. Hear this:

Philippians 2:13 “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Philippians 2:13 “That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.” (MSG)

Learn this and never forget it: The energy you need to win in life is not yours, it is God’s energy!

The only thing you need to do is to take your stand in prayer, worship and adoration to the Most High God and watch Him do what only Him can do.

Friend, let Him fight for you and return all the glory to Him, that’s all He wants. Our LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name!
