2Samuel 23:11 “And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.”

2Samuel 23:12 “But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.”

…From yesterday…

Every child of God is a wonder, that is why we can never be trapped.

Psalms 71:7 “I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.”

Isaiah 8:18 “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.”

You and I are wonders to our world and wonder can never be caged. When you think you have seen his end, he comes out from another place, where you least expect.

Friend, I want you to know, we are not ordinary. The Bible calls us signs and wonder. We don’t have signs and wonders, we are signs and wonders. It is our heritage. We take it everywhere we go. When we step into a zone, it becomes a signs and wonder territory. The believer’s life cannot be explained. Miracles are beyond the understanding of men and science; friend, that is who we are!

All our fathers of faith understood this principle and they lived their lives as such. David lived his life as such, how else do you think he fought sixty six battles and lost none?

I remember when the Apostles were imprisoned in Acts 5. The Pharisees thought they had seen their end only to discover the following day that the prison doors where still locked but the disciples were already out and back in the Temple preaching! You simply cannot stop neither defeat a wonder. If you ask Pharaoh, he’ll tell you better!

The second ingredient and force I saw in the life of Shammah is from his father’s name. His father is called Agee, and the Hebrew name means; flame, overtop and above!
