Hannah has been praying for a child but on this occasion she believed and prayed to God for a “man child”. She didn’t stop there, she also ask for a child whose hair will not be barbed, in order words a Nazarene as the priest of their days are called, and that marks the end.

In no time Samuel showed up. I know she made vows but perhaps you’ve been making vows without seeing results, then check your specifications. Let your desires shape your prayers.

In the world, you cannot just say I need a car, a phone or a cloth, the first question the seller will ask you are the specifications. The clothes, shoes and other things that we put on all come with specifications in sizes. If men are wise enough in the secular to fix specifications on items, how much more God!

Hear this:

Matthew 7:9 “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?”

Matthew 7:10 “Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?”

Matthew 7:11 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Jesus seems to be saying here that since men knows and obeys the Law of Specificity how much more God! Could it be that your lack of specifics have robbed you of several blessings of God in life?
I noticed from scriptures that before the children of Isreal could possess Canaan, God asked them to spy it first. The aim is to give them a desire to pray about! You become what you behold. What you can’t see, you can’t have!

Beloved, please review those your prayer points again and get down to the specifics; then watch God do what only Him can do!
