Mark 10:47 “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.”

…From yesterday…

Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

The only thing that gives you the faith of God and faith in God is His word.

In the same vein, fear comes when you hear something different from the word of God. Hear this:

Numbers 13:27 “And they told him, and said We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.”

Numbers 13:28 “Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.”

Numbers 13:32 “And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.”

Numbers 14:1 “And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried and the people wept that night.”

What always amazes me about this scripture is that, out of all the people of Israel only twelve of them went on the reconnaissance to the Promised Land; out of which ten spoke and almost two million people became afraid to the extent that they cried all night! What they heard put a paralyzing fear into them.

Friend, you only need to hear a wrong information and you’ll be amazed at what it will do to you. Bartimaeus heard the right things about Jesus and he moved from begging to fulfilling destiny.

Don’t listen to people who don’t have the right information about the Messiah. Hear this:

Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Jesus has not and will not change! What he has done for others, he will do for you!
