LOOSED TONGUE

LOOSED TONGUE
Luke 1:63 “And he asked for a writing table, and wrote saying His name is John. And they marvelled all.”

Luke 1:64 “And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake and praised God.”

Beloved, as we round up this meditation, I want you to note another interesting thing from this story.

We observe from our focal scripture that when Zacharias saw what was going on as regards the naming of his son and knew he couldn’t speak, he asked for a writing table. Zacharias couldn’t speak but he could write.

Friend, don’t let one disability stop you from achieving your goals in life. The priest quickly used what he has to get what he want. His voice ceased but not his brain and writing ability. There will always be a skill set that can bail you out of difficult situations.

I remember the encounter of the widow and prophet Elisha:

2Kings 4:2 “And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.”

This widow was in a big mess and felt all hope was lost. She approached the prophet for help and naturally one would think he will pray for her, borrow her money or help speak to the creditor but rather he asked her a very bizarre question.

He asked for what she has in her house; initially she said nothing, but quickly added “…a pot of oil”. There will always be a pot of oil left with you. You will never get to a point where you have no seed to kick start your deliverance.

If you find yourself in a situation where you’re not allowed to speak; write. Immediately Zacharias wrote, his tongue loosed. He wrote his vision and God took over. When you move, God swings into action.

I pray for you today, you will experience a miracle that will give you a voice! A miracle that will lose whatever the enemy has bound in your life. Get set for an encounter of a life time.

Love you BiG
