Luke 1:59 “And it came to pass that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.”

Luke 1:60 “And his mother answered and said Not so; but he shall be called John.”

Luke 1:61 “And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.”

…From yesterday…

That your fathers didn’t build shouldn’t be a reason for you not to. That people die of a particular sickness in your family doesn’t mean you should follow suit.

Those folks were literally trying to confine John to the same limitations that stopped his father but Elizabeth resisted. Science will tell you it is hereditary but spiritually we know it as flows.

Hear this:

Genesis 11:30 “But Sarai was barren; she had no child.”

Genesis 25:21 “And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived”

Genesis 29:31 “And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.”

In the above scenarios, we saw barrenness having a field day in the family of Abraham. It was flowing from Abraham down to Jacob. That was a major spiritual issue.

Isaac knew his parents had difficulty in conceiving him and immediately he saw the trend in his own life, he swung into action. He went to the place of prayers and stopped the negative flow.

Friend, you must have this awareness and consciously handle negative flows in your life. Don’t agree with the enemy. Run the devil out of your life and destiny.

Be the jinx breaker. That your father’s name was Zacharias doesn’t mean you should be. You must know you’re John and understand the agenda of God for your life.

You have been dwarfed for too long. The giant in you has been sleeping, now is the time to wake him up. It is high time you start to maximize your potentials.

May the jinx breaking anointing rest heavily upon you from today. Go and become the very best version of you that God created!
