Luke 1:24 “And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived and hid herself five months, saying”

Luke 1:25 “Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men”

Elizabeth hid her pregnancy less they mock her and truncate her miracle. Demonically orchestrated people can easily introduce unbelief and fear to terminate the birthing of your miracle.

You must know how to hide from people that will mock your miracles and discourage you. Don’t let men kill your miracles before their manifestation. I guess Elizabeth gave the same wisdom to John when he was born, no wonder he hid himself too:

Luke 1:80 “And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, AND WAS IN THE DESERTS TILL THE DAY OF HIS SHEWING UNTO ISRAEL.”

When Joseph had a dream, the first thing he did was to announce both the dreams and interpretation to his brethren!

Genesis 37:5 “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more”

Genesis 37:6 “And he said unto them, Hear I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed”

Genesis 37:9 “And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.”

By the time he finished narrating the dreams to them, they plotted for him and sold him off. I noticed that since the time they sold him off, till he arrived on the throne, he didn’t tell anyone his dreams and their interpretations again.

Even God had to go hide Jesus in Egypt! Is it that God couldn’t hide the young Jesus and prevent Herod from slaying him? He sure can but He was simply showing us the wisdom of hiding to flourish.

Friend, a season of announcement will surely come but you must be smart enough to correctly interpret the seasons! You must know how to hide till the day of your showing!
