Luke 1:15 “For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.”

Luke 1:16 “And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.”

Luke 1:17 “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

…From yesterday…

My spiritual father said, “Men may not know what you carry but you must know it and never be confused about it!”

John knew who he was and why he was sent here. Note that he also knew about Jesus, respected him but never claimed to be who he was not. He had no mistaken identity. He knew he was John and he stayed on his own lane.

Friend, know yourself and don’t be confused about your identity. Your strength and fulfilment lies in your ability to stand in your office. Paul admonished us thus:

1Corinthians 7:20 “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called”

It doesn’t matter what he has called you to do, stay there and face your work! Your reward is tied to your assignment. Don’t score an “A” in a wrong “calling”.

John was crystal clear about his assignment, he was not confused about it.

God want to give many people their desired “John” but many are not ready for the responsibilities attached to it. There is always a reason for the release of that miracle to you.

There is always something in the mind of God for granting our requests. If you don’t know and embrace it, you’ll have problems. Abusing the purpose of your last miracle can prevent the coming of the next!

Friend, the question is: Do you know why that “John” was given to you? Are you sure you’re doing the right things in life? Do you know the mission of your God given vision?

Love you BiG
