Luke 1:15 “For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.”

Luke 1:16 “And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.”

Luke 1:17 “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

…From yesterday…

The problem of many people is that they are either not born again or they got born again without asking Him what he has in mind for them. Many do guess work or even choose a path for themselves.

Being born again is your first step into fulfilling divine purpose, while the second step is to ask Him directly why He sent you here.

After Paul became born again when he encountered Jesus on the way to Damascus, he immediately ask God that very important question:

Acts 9:6 “And he trembling and astonished said Lord, what wilt thou have me to do And the Lord said unto him, Arise and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do”

Many people are basking in the euphoria of been born again and they remain there without making further progress. Paul was equally astonished about his encounter with the Lord but he quickly moved on from there to fulfilling purpose. He didn’t save us just to make up the number, He brought us into the fold for a purpose.

When Paul asked the question, He told him to arise and go then it will be told him what he needed to do. Beloved, arise and go, move on to the place of instruction and discovery of purpose.

Your life is more than just finish school, get married, give birth, build house, train your children, retire and wait for death!

To be continued…
