Luke 1:13 “But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.”

…From yesterday…

The word “remembers” according to Bible scholars doesn’t mean that God forgets. It simply means He brings the matter into focus! When you’re going to the place of prayer, go armed with an oath. For example:

Exodus 23:26 “There shall nothing cast their young nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil”

Deuteronomy 7:14 “Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.”

When you bring these type of oaths before God, He bring you into focus. In case you’ve been praying without an oath, you may have been praying amiss.

An oath is a covenant God made with man which he cannot refute. In order words, God’s oaths are the very promises that have been well documented and articulated in the Bible. They are our prophecies and are meant to be enforced in the place of prayers.

1Timothy 1:18 “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;”

1Timothy 1:19 “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:”

We wage war with prophecies. Warfare to a New Testament believer is simply prayer and standing in faith. Not praying God’s oath and standing upon the word are usually the missing links in getting results.

Beloved, stop praying emotional prayers. Stop crying and shouting without an oath. The oaths are already packaged in the word of God. You simply need to dig deep to know which oath handles what.

Jehovah always remembers His oath and brings us into focus when we pray.

A combination of “Zacharias and Elizabeth” can never fail! When you put these two “personalities” together in prayer, the result is always John!
