Luke 1:5 “There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.”

Luke 1:6 “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.”

…From yesterday…

In the midst of the wickedness and evil in your environment, land, society and world at large, what will be your testimony? What exactly is heaven saying about you?

I’ve seen several professing believers fit seamlessly into corrupt and perverse environments. Many so called Christians just get swallowed up in environments of wickedness.

Some believers get into positions of power and by the time they are finishing their tenure you wonder if they were ever born again.

Friend, that Herod is on the throne doesn’t mean you can’t still be Zacharias and Elizabeth. Your life shouldn’t be run on the dictates of your environment. That people within your sphere of influence are corrupt and wicked doesn’t mean you can’t be blameless!

Zacharias could still be called a priest despite the activities of Herod. Others might collect bribe and oppress the helpless but you shouldn’t be the one signing such orders. If we know you as a believer, you must live up to such expectations.

A priest stands in the gap between God and men, that is a role you must not take for granted. We have been empowered as priests to stop the advent of evil within our environment.

Evil might be the order of the day but don’t let your name go down in the history books as a supporter of such menace. You must defend the integrity of God wherever you’re found.

Don’t be a believer in church and an unbeliever at the workplace. You’re an Ambassador of heaven and must continually prove it! Don’t let the evil around you swallow you up.

Friend, walk in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord and be blameless!

Love you BiG
