BELIEVE-1
Mark 16:14 “Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen”

Mark 16:14 “Last of all, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating. He scolded them, because they did not have faith and because they were too stubborn to believe those who had seen him alive.” (GNB)

Mike Murdock said; “The two most important qualities that I have learned about God are: His only pain is to be doubted and His only pleasure is to be believed”. That’s a powerful statement!

The only thing that impress God is faith, every time we believe Him, we give Him pleasure and every time we doubt him we don’t just cause Him pain, we limit ourselves.

After the resurrection, Christ appeared to Mary Magdalene and two others who ran to break the news to the disciples, but unfortunately they refused to believe them.

If you study the account after his death, you’ll discover that even the Pharisees and those that crucified him believed that he’ll rise hence the mounting of the guard around the tomb. (Matthew 27:62-66)

Matthew 27:65 “Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way make it as sure as ye can”

Matthew 27:66 “So they went and made the sepulchre sure sealing the stone, and setting a watch.”

Friend, the reason why many people don’t come to Christ in our contemporary day is that they still don’t believe he died, was buried and that he arose. However, what gives us power, authority and glory as Christians is our ability to believe God and all He says about Himself and about us in His word.

Jesus got angry with his disciples when he finally met them and even scolded them. You cannot travel the journey of life successfully without having your believe system firmly in place.

After scolding them he went ahead and gave us the result of believing him. He said:
