NO OBSTACLE-1
Mark 16:3 “And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?”

Mark 16:4 “And when they looked they saw that the stone was rolled away for it was very great.”

These women are so bold and courageous. They taught us a very important lesson, which is; we must move in spite of the opposition against us. We must build a resilient spirit that keeps going without minding the obstacle.

These women left their homes and were only pre-occupied with their mission and assignment. They knew there was a very great stone between them and the fulfilment of their vision but they left home anyway.

The problem of many people is that they never get started because of the obstacle ahead of them.

The gist is this; you may never be able to figure out everything as regards your vision but you must get started. A wise man said, “Beginning is half done”. If you don’t start, you can’t finish. Hear this:

Ecclesistes 11:4 “If you wait until the wind and the weather are just right, you will never plant anything and never harvest anything.” (GNB)

Ecclesiastes 11:4 “If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.” (TLB)

If you wait for all the conditions to be perfect in life, you won’t set out. Obstacles will always be there but you must make up your mind that it won’t stop you.

These women could have stayed back thinking and praying for the stone to be rolled away before leaving home but they took a step. That is what is called the step of faith.

Faith is an action word. It is not passive. A very important aspect of faith is action or works.

James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

James 2:26 “So then, as the body without the spirit is dead, also faith without actions is dead.”(GNT)

You can’t win if you don’t start.
