EARLY BIRD-2

EARLY BIRD-2
Mark 16:2 “And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.”

…From yesterday…

A culture of meeting with God early always translate into early miracles. God is a God of the early birds! God let us in on a very important reason why we must be early birds especially in our dealings with Him. Hear Him:

Exodus 8:20 “The LORD said to Moses: Early tomorrow morning, while the king is on his way to the river, go and say to him, “The LORD commands you to let his people go, so they can worship him.” (CEV)

God instructed Moses to get to the river Nile early, before Pharaoh. Pharaoh himself goes to the river early and Bible scholars told us that he goes to worship the river goddess early each day. God knew this, He knows that the control Pharaoh had over the people of Israel is not just ordinary. So, He commanded Moses to go “intercept” him before he gets to the “shrine”.

That’s a powerful insight into demonic activities. Priests of deities go early to bow before their shrine, long before the day break. They consult their oracles while most believers are still rolling in bed.

Friend, as a believer, learn this wisdom. Stop rushing out of your house each morning without rising early to consult your own GOD.

1Samuel 1:19 “And they rose up in the morning early and worshipped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.”

Elkanah and Hannah rose early, worshipped God and the yoke of barrenness was destroyed.

Luke 21:38 “And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.”

Don’t leave your house without hearing Him first. Letting God set your direction for the day is the secret to greatness. If Jesus who was God himself on earth practiced this culture, you and I are not spared.
