MOVE TO REHOBOTH-2

MOVE TO REHOBOTH-2
Genesis 26:20 “And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac’s herdmen saying The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.”

Genesis 26:21 “And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.”

Genesis 26:22 “And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

…From yesterday…

Our focal scripture showed us two of these demons we will face in our quest for success. They are Esek and Sitnah. No matter what you want to achieve they will show up.

Esek simply means “Contention” while Sitnah means “Hatred”.

Friend, men will contend with you and hate you for your assignment and what God has given you. You must however be wise enough to know that they only want to stop your success and limit you. When strive and hatred suddenly arise against you, it’s not just physical, there is a spiritual force at play.

The wisdom is this, when they come against you like a tornado, you should rejoice because you’re closer to success than when you began. The presence of these enemies is also an indication that you’re on the right path to success! All you need do is dispel them quickly.

Esek and Sitnah unknowingly signal “light at the end of the tunnel” for you! Rather than sit and start weeping when Esek come calling, Isaac simply moved on to Sitnah and from there to Rehoboth. He has leant from the experience of Abraham that success was at hand.

On the journey of life and destiny, there is a Rehoboth for you. Rehoboth means room or much space. There is a divine allowance for you and I, a room dedicated to us in the land of success. We must never give up till we get there.

To be continued…
