SOW YOUR SEED-1
Genesis 26:6 “And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:”

Genesis 26:12 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.”

Your seed is what gives you control over your future. Your seed makes it possible for you to influence and decide what you want to see in the future. You can take a piece of what you have today, throw it into the future where it multiplies and waits for you.

Your seed can only multiply in the future not in the presence. It is what makes a difference between your today and your tomorrow. Your seed have the capability and audacity to break yokes around your life and put famine at bay!

One of the most difficult things to do during famine is sowing. Famine is a season where you hoard whatever food item you have because you don’t know when and where the next one is coming from.

You must however understand that no man breaks out of famine without sowing seed. It doesn’t matter how broke or famished you are, you will have seed no matter how little. There will always be something in your hand that can trigger your next miracle.

Your seed however doesn’t just mean money, it encompasses so many things. As a matter of fact, Mike Murdock says, “We are a walking storehouse of seeds”.

Our seed includes: Time, Thoughts, Love, Patience, Mercy, Kindness, Thankfulness, strength, skills, Money, Laughter, Connections (people we know) and of course our Prayers. These are all seeds and you can never come to a point where you don’t have one of these to sow.

1Kings 17:11 “And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.”

In 1Kings 17, we saw the encounter between Elijah and the widow of Zarephath. The famine was thick in the land and this poor widow was planning to have her last meal when she met the prophet.
