THE INSTRUCTIONS OF GOD-3

THE INSTRUCTIONS OF GOD-3
Genesis 26:2 “And the LORD appeared unto him, and said Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:”

Genesis 26:3 “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;”

…From yesterday…

Genesis 2:11 “The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;”

Genesis 2:12 “And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.”

Friend, all the gold, bdellium and onyx you’re busy looking for are in a particular location. The smart thing to do first is to ask God for the land where yours is located. Hear this:

Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid”

The Bible calls the believer a “city set on a hill”. We quote this scripture and use it to pray for elevation and reigning but what we normally fail to ask is on which hill am I suppose to shine?

Your location includes place, occupation and dreams. These are the stuff God was telling Isaac about. Once you get that right, you’re on your way to breaking the siege of famine.

God emphasized it for Isaac:

Genesis 26:3 “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee…”

Once you can sojourn in the land He shows you, He will be with you and bless you there. Isaac followed the instructions of God, and prospered in famine.

There is no great man or woman who is not positioned in their own place. Your primary assignment is to locate your Eden and stay there. Stop running to Egypt, don’t end up with Hagar.

Your famine can become a blessing if and only if you can follow His instructions!

Love you BiG
