UNACCOMPLISHED MISSION-2

UNACCOMPLISHED MISSION-2
Ruth 1:7 “Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.”

Ruth 1:15 “And she said Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.”

…From yesterday…

If you ask any failure why he or she failed, they’ll easily give you enough “valid reasons” why they gave up. Let’s take a look at some reasons Orpah would likely give us:

Ruth 1:11 “And Naomi said Turn again my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?”

Ruth 1:12 “Turn again my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;”

Ruth 1:13 “Would ye tarry for them till they were grown would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.”

Some of the factors why Orpah didn’t accomplish the mission from the above passage will include:

1. NEGATIVE HUMAN VOICES: One of the reasons she gave up was because of the voice of her mother in-law. The elder woman pestered her severally, telling her to go back to her people. In life you’ll always come across the voice of discouragement.

No matter the venture the voice will always be lurking at the background giving you reasons to stop. The interesting thing however was that she was not the only one hearing this voice, Ruth heard it too but she accomplished her mission.

The same situation and circumstance faced the two of them, one failed, the other succeeded, why don’t you become a Ruth in that venture of yours! The one that will accomplish the mission.

To be continued…
