BE AN ATTRACTION-2
Ruth 1:6 “Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.”

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

If you study the above scripture critically, you’ll discover that Jesus didn’t call us the light of the church but rather light of the world.

The truth is that, in church, everybody is light and when we have a collection of “lights” we don’t really appreciate it. It is when you get into the world where there is darkness all around that we can really appreciate light. As a matter of fact when you get to the dark world, we will know whether you have light or not.

The world out there is dark and in total darkness but the question is, can you shine out there? Is there something different about you?

Friend, are you part of the problems in our world or a solution provider? When they are ready to castigate people, backbite and change figures in your office, are they comfortable doing it in your presence? If that’s the case, you’re a contributor to darkness.

Evil and darkness must never be comfortable around you that is what it means to be light. The Bible says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works…”

As long as there was famine in Judah, Naomi and her daughters in-law didn’t bother going back there. You must be able to give people reasons to follow Christ.

Christianity is no Christianity if it cannot convince unbelievers! Don’t ever believe the saying that I’m a believer it doesn’t matter what I do or don’t do. Your life does matter to God, to others and to the world at large.

Be a good Ambassador of the kingdom. Naomi was attracted back to Jesus, friend, be an attraction!
