…From yesterday…

In Exodus 14, the children of Israel got to the bank of the Red sea and they got stuck. Moses then addressed them and said,”… stand still and see the salvation of the LORD…” (Exodus 14:13). He told them to stand still and wait for God to act.

It looks like a very wise saying until God spoke. God completely override the statement of Moses. God showed them the way he operates. He said, “…speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward” (Exodus 14:15).

Moses said stop, God said go forward! God knew that until they confront the mighty Red Sea it will not give way. We don’t know for how long they stood still but they eventually “ran towards” or confronted the Red sea and it gave way like a pack of cards. That was the same thing that happened between David and Goliath.

The same Goliath that has been standing for forty days gave way in less than thirty minutes. That mountain before your career, your destiny, business, health and so on is only waiting for a confrontation. You have dodged it enough.

Jesus reiterated this principle, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).

Friend, confront your Goliath by speaking the word of God to it. Confront it on your kneels in prayer. Confront by singing and praising God. No matter what, do something. If you need new information or knowledge in order to challenge the issue, go for it, enough of folding your arms.

The longer you dodge the enemy the stronger he becomes. It’s high time you confront that Goliath!

Faith is action, faith is motion, go for it!
