…From yesterday…

I also want you to know that youthfulness does not connote inexperience. What matters most in life is learning what you’re supposed to learn as at when due. Hear this:

Psalms 71:17 “O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works”

This David was not an ordinary youth, he is one who has been taught as a youth. He spent his youthful days learning!

David learnt to fight and kill the lion and the bear as a youth and soon God presented him with the opportunity to kill Goliath and arrive on his throne very early in life.

In the agenda of God, once you learn what you need to learn He elevates you. In Israel you cannot join the army or regarded as a man until you’re twenty years old. On the battle field that day, David was the only one less than twenty years old but with the highest form of training, most anointed, lion-hearted and well prepared. He was the most experienced man around that God could use!

God was not ready to be molested on that field that day so He sort for a man that can match the lion-like man in the form of Goliath and the only one with that experience was the youthful David.

I have seen very experienced young men who are doing excellently well as well as old men who are still babies! I’ve heard of a young boy who lost both parents at the tender age of twelve and had to fend for his two younger ones doing menial jobs. He ended up training himself as well as his younger ones in school.

He managed resources and his younger ones well and he grew up to be a great father and manager of his home. He was a youth who did excellently well for himself and his folks.
