INCOMPLETE DRESSING-3
1Samuel 17:38 “And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.”
1Samuel 17:39 “And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.”
…From yesterday…
If God says by reason of what Christ did you’re rich, healed and forgiven, you must not allow the Devil tell you otherwise. The Devil will say, “How can you say you’re healed when you are feeling headache”, the moment you agree and accept that, it becomes your reality and he wins.
Beloved, your current situation is not a correct representation of the real you. As long as what you’re seeing around you is not inline with what is written in the Bible, it means it can change. God has the final say in the affairs of your life.
What has been written is the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
The truth also applies to the way we live our lives. We must live with honesty and integrity of heart. Let the Word be the guiding force for your decisions and actions.
The devil is always helpless about a man of integrity. Hear these:
Psalms 25:21 “Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.”
Job 27:5 “God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.”
Integrity preserves, it guides and defends. Job said he will never remove his belt of truth even when faced with death (Paraphrased). David knew if he went to confront Goliath with lies, he will be defeated so he refused to go with the armour of Saul!
Saul also refused to give David a shoe or footwear. Paul likened the shoe to the gospel of peace. The ultimate of the gospel for the believer here on earth is dominion. Our feet is our implement of dominion.
To be continued…
