PROPER DRESSING FOR WAR: HELMET-2
1Samuel 17:38 “And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.”

1Samuel 17:39 “And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.”

…From yesterday…

The problem is that we were given this helmet immediately we step into the world. We all go to school and our mentality and orientation becomes that of the world system. We spend our Mondays to Fridays learning the knowledge and thinking pattern of the world and then spend few hours in Children Sunday school on Sundays to learn about God.

We were fed more with the systems of these world than with the thinking pattern of the Kingdom. We grow up knowing limitations and impossibilities. Our mind is trained to know that when you see a giant like Goliath, you run or bow.

When people gets a frightening medical report for instance, they cry and simply prepare for death! They do this because they’ve been thought that medical science is the ultimate when it comes to human health and wellness.

When people are broke they think of borrowing. When they make money they quickly hoard it because they’ve been thought that to make money, you must keep it and stack it up in a bank. The science of making more money in the world system is to keep not give.

Our mentality has been dangerously swathed with mediocrity, lies, fear, limitations, human ideas, thoughts and gimmicks.

Those were the things, Saul loaded David with. But, glory be to God, while Saul and his men were busy getting trained in the city, God took David to the backside of life with the sheep, exposing him to a different mindset.

When the second Saul showed up inform of Apostle Paul, he said something totally different about the covering for the head.
