1Samuel 17:26 “And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

Friend, you are by design a change agent. You were never designed to adapt to satanic and demonic agendas but rather you were designed to change them. Hear this:

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Romans 12:2 “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”(MSG)

The reason why many believers live a defeated life is because they have conformed to the norm. They have so well adapted to the negative situations that it has become difficult if not impossible to change.

Saul and his men after listening to the giant ranting for some days become accustomed to fear and intimidation that it became their reality. I have watched several people adapt to such situations that it has become their life style.

In our contemporary world, you’ll see poor people living a wretched life and passing same over to their children. Many don’t even know there is anything wrong with such a life style. We see godless parents bringing up their children in the same way because that was how they were brought up.

Saul and his men have developed a coping mechanism to deal with the threats and intimidation of Goliath. They just scramble for cover and run for their dare lives.
