The eight day or being born again is what makes you a new man or woman (2Corinthians 5:17) and we’ve seen that God can only work with a new man. He only places His Spirit, power and anointing on a new man. Whenever God want to do a new thing He looks for a new man.

Friend, there are several Goliaths out there which God want killed but the main issue is that He cannot trust the old you. He can only work and walk with an “eighth man”.

There are Goliaths of sickness, poverty, death, barrenness, frustration, lack, destruction and so on in the world. These Goliaths are in many families, clans, states, communities, nations, countries and continents; awaiting a David and they will keep on with the harassment until the eighth man arrives the scene.

Friend, the eight man thinks the thoughts of heaven, his orientation and authority is from Above. He knows he has a mandate for a new order and he implements it according to the ordinances and dictates of God.

Don’t be a born again Christian with an “old head”. Step into the reality of your new nature.

One thing that happens at the New Birth is a changed spirit. Your spirit man gets reinvigorated and reconnected back to God but we also have an advantage, which is to pick up the mind of Christ.

1Corinthians 2:16 “…But we have the MIND OF CHRIST.”

Our old mind programmed us to think and reason in a particular way which has created all the problems in our lives. A wise man said, “You cannot solve a problem with the same mindset that created it”.

Many got born again but their old head still thinks failure, impossibilities, defeats and the like. It’s not just enough to be born again, you need a “mind transplant” as well.
