NEW BEGINNING-2
1Samuel 17:12 “Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had EIGHT SONS…”

1Samuel 17:14 “And David was the youngest…”

…From yesterday…

Sunday is the first day of the new week. Saturday happens to be the seventh day of the week which is the Sabbath. Sunday is the eighth day which begins a new week. That’s one of the major reasons why eight is regarded as the number of new beginning.

Friend, God moved to the family of Jesse and tried them from number one to seven and couldn’t get someone He can work with and so decided to start a new order. He moved to the eighth man.

The first seven belong to the same school of thought. They had a wrong mindset and God decided to start something new. Beloved, what is the state of your mind? Are you an eighth man or do you follow the norm?

God is always looking for the eight man. The eight man is one who has died, was buried and who has resurrected.

Romans 6:4 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

2Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold all things are become new.”

Circumcision and resurrection of Christ took place on the eight (8) day. Being born again in spiritual reality is all about the eight day. To be born again is simply circumcision of the heart and resurrection with Christ.

The eight day or being born again is what makes you a new man or woman (2Corinthians 5:17) and we’ve seen that God can only work with a new man. He only places His Spirit, power and anointing on a new man. Whenever God want to do a new thing He looks for a new man.
