BECOME A MAN-7
1Samuel 17:8 “And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.”

…From yesterday…

Courage is an inner strength birthed from the place of encounter with the Living God. It is knowing God and knowing you can always count on His superior strength and power in times of need.

Remember that Goliath was tall, fierce and intimidating; Saul was equally tall but both were no match for a real man of courage when David showed up. A real man is courageous and bold not because of any of his own physical qualities but because he has learnt to leverage on the strength and abilities of God!

David knew it was not his skill and courage that gave him victory against the lion and bear but rather his confidence in the Living God. Courage is an inner strength that lies within which comes out in the face of overwhelming challenges.

Hear this:

Proverbs 3:26 “For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.”

Proverbs 14:26 “In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.”

A real man is confident, courageous and bold but all these qualities stems strictly from his absolute trust in His Creator!

Here is another quality of a man:

Ezekiel 22:30 “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

A real man is a mediator, a priest, a bridge, an intercessor and a prayer warrior. It doesn’t matter whether you’re male or female, your ability to bring the divine unto the scene shows if you’re a real man or not.
