…From yesterday…

I want you to know that certain things are already dead in your life and you have no business resurrecting them. You were once dead but now alive in Christ! Hallelujah!

Your sins and past life should remain in the grave. Let me show you some of the things that must remain in the grave:

Galatians 5:19 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,”

Galatians 5:20 “Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,”

Galatians 5:21 “Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like…”

You are now a new creature and must live as such. Your past is past and must remain so. In the same way, all our sins were placed on Christ and he died but arose as a new man, the first born among the dead to give us new life. We are also now dead to sin but alive in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:2 “Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?” (HCSB)

Sin no longer have dominion over us. We have been brought alive to demonstrate the new nature and the fruits of the Spirit. These are the things that arose with us, which we must run with:

Galatians 5:22,23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…”

That young man died the way Christ died and the way we all died with him and he arose the way Christ arose and brought us back to life. This miracle is a type and shadow of the resurrection of Christ.

The devil thought he has finally succeeded in stopping God’s agenda for mankind by killing Jesus but alas it was all part of God’s grand plan to redeem us.

Friend, in case the enemy has killed something important in your destiny; relax, it is coming back to life better and more glorious. The new will emerge in your life today, in Jesus’ mighty name!
