Luke 7:13 “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.”

…From yesterday…

The light in this context is a personality, the person of Jesus Christ Himself; the anointing and the anointed! Hear this:

John 1:4 “In him (Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men.”

John1: 5 “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

Friend, to stop weeping, you need to get out of darkness and embrace light. You need to turn your darkness into day or morning by acquiring the knowledge of Him!

Psalms 119:130 “The entrance of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

When Jesus (the Word) steps in, darkness runs for cover because light and darkness cannot co-habit. Friend, you have the power to cause a change in your season, you can change your “night to morning”. In case you don’t believe me, see Joshua:

Joshua 10:12 “Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.”

Joshua 10:13 “And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies…So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.”

Joshua literally spoke the Word, and darkness turned to day! Remember:

Psalms 112:4 “Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”

As long as you stay in the Light (Word), in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, darkness will be alien to you. Darkness and tears dealt very deadly blows on this woman, making her a childless widow, but the day Jesus (Light) entered her life; darkness became day, tears became joy.

A life lived outside Jesus is a life in sorrow and tears. Beloved, let the light in; WEEP NO MORE!
