Luke 7:13 “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.”

…From yesterday…

James also said that, “For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” (James 2:13).

I love it in the message translation:

James 2:13 “For if you refuse to act kindly, you can hardly expect to be treated kindly. Kind mercy wins over harsh judgment every time.”

Beloved, if there is a harsh judgment against you, the mercies of the past will step our into the present and bail you out. Do you remember the story of Job?

At the latter years of Job, the Lord turned his captivity and things changed for the better for him but how did he recover and became wealthy again?

Job 42:11 “Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also GAVE HIM A PIECE OF MONEY, AND EVERY ONE AN EARRING OF GOLD.” (Emphasis mine”

He recovered and became wealthy because people rallied round him and gave him money, gold and other precious stuff and the Lord blessed him greatly but guess what? There was a secret to these seeds or capital that was donated to him. Hear him:

Job 29:12 “I was known for helping people in trouble and standing up for those who were down on their luck.”

Job 29:13 “The dying blessed me, and the bereaved were cheered by my visits.”

Job 29:14 “All my dealings with people were good. I was known for being fair to everyone I met.”

Job 29:15 “I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame,”

That was the secret of Job. Everyone he had showed empathy returned to help him. His seed began to speak for him in form of harvest!
