Luke 7:12 “Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold there was a dead man carried out the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.”

The devil came and destroyed everything that represents power in the life of this woman.

Friend, I want you to know that by talking about what represents power, it is not just about a physical male figure. It goes far beyond that.

Things that represents power or the male gender in our lives could be our source of income, business, career, destiny helpers, academics or even a skill or talent.

The main aim of the enemy for attacking these things is to make us powerless and vulnerable. I once read the story of a very promising footballer who had an accident and became bedridden after winning his first major tournament at age twenty.

That’s an attack that is similar to what we are discussing. I want you to know that talking about the power of the male gender also means maturity.

Luke 7:12 “…behold there was a dead man carried out the only son of his mother, and she was a widow”.

The devil waited for this woman’s son to grow to become a man before he struck. He didn’t kill him until he became a man. The bible said a “dead man”. The devil didn’t kill him when he was still a boy. He waited till he became a man.

Beloved, don’t rest or relax when things are coming to maturity in your life. Keep praying, fasting and doing spiritual warfare when your business start making profit. When you just graduated from school. When you get pregnant and so on.

Beware of the antics of the enemy. Don’t quit your prayer altar. Watch and pray always. Protect the things that represents power in your life and destiny.

Keep horning your skills and talents, don’t become lackadaisical in the place of training and acquiring knowledge.

The devil will not render you powerless in Jesus name!
