ASTOUND GOD-1
Luke 7:9 “When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

Luke 7:10 “And they that were sent returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick”

Is it possible for human beings to astound God? The answer is yes! We saw clearly from our text that this Gentile centurion caused Jesus to marvel.

The word marvel as used here means; to wonder, to be astounded, to shock, to amaze, to flabbergast, to cause a stir or admiration amongst others. These were what this centurion did to Jesus or to God as it were.

This centurion surprised God, plain and simple. I know it might be a little difficult for your “religious” mind to comprehend but I want you to know you can do same. You can make God marvel and look at you with admiration.

How did he do it and how can we do it too? He released his faith. When you release or walk by faith, you cause a holy stir in heaven. Have you read this in your bible?

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

It simply means with faith, it becomes possible to please the Father. Whenever we release our faith in Jesus, we please God and I can assure you, when you please God, He will do the impossible for you. Faith makes us enter into the pleasures of God.

Pleasure means happiness or satisfaction. It is a feeling of extreme delight, or satisfaction in something or someone. It is something satisfying or bringing satisfaction.

Does God want to be pleased, satisfied or excited about you and I? Yes sir! He wants to, more than any other thing. No wonder He said of Jesus:
